Los Angeles police said Thursday they are investigating the murder of a 29-year-old Van Nuys man who was found Wednesday shot to death in his bed.
Officer John Corrigan said the victim, who had been shot once in the chest, was found by friends in his apartment at 15501 Moorpark St. at 5:45 p.m. The friends had gone to check on the man because they had not been able to contact him for several days.
No motive has been established for the murder, Corrigan said, and the man’s identity was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
