Chapman College Beats Dominguez Hills

The 10th-ranked Chapman College women’s volleyball team defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills Tuesday, 15-8, 15-11, 7-15, 15-5, in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. match at Chapman.

Pam Whinocur had 17 kills and Brenda Read had 16 service points to lead Chapman, which improved its conference record to 4-4 and overall record to 20-12. This is the first year the Panthers have won at least 20 matches since 1979, when they won 25.
