Nunn (12-0 with 9 knockouts) is coming off a second-round knockout of Alvaro Granillo Jan. 28. Carter is second-ranked in California and tenth-ranked by the U.S. Boxing Assn. Carter is 17-4 with 4 knockouts.
Kenny Mitchell (14-5-2, 4 knockouts) meets Tony Montoya (15-0, 6 knockouts) and Jesus Salud (18-0) faces Mike Phelps (21-0) in two bantamweight bouts tonight.
