Volkswagen Will Recall 18,000 Vans, Campers

TROY, Mich. —  Volkswagen of America Inc. said Monday it will recall about 18,000 Vanagons and Campers because of problems with rear door latches. The company said that a rear sliding-door lock may be damaged if it is slammed shut too often. Volkswagen said it had received no accident reports associated with the defect.
