A Riverside County man was arrested Monday in connection with a June 5 armed robbery of a San Juan Capistrano pharmacy.
Page Allan McDannell, 34, who lives on the Pechanga Indian Reservation near Temecula, was taken into custody there by sheriff’s deputies from Riverside and Orange counties, aided by Costa Mesa police and McDannell’s parole officer, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Bob Rivas.
On June 5, a man brandishing a handgun entered the Medicine Shop, tied up a clerk with surgical tape and stole $841 worth of narcotics, Rivas said.
McDannell is on parole from Texas on “numerous burglary and drug charges,” Rivas said. He was charged with armed robbery and is under investigation by Costa Mesa police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in connection with other crimes. McDannell is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
