Arrays, a Van Nuys computer software company, reported that its loss narrowed to $162,758, or 4.5 cents a share, in the second quarter ended May 31.
In the same quarter a year earlier, it lost $792,493, or 4.2 cents a share. The company’s sales increased 8.1%, to $405,155.
A spokeswoman said the company cut its loss partly by consolidating offices with Haba Systems, a privately held software company that recently bought a controlling interest in Arrays.
For the six months ended May 31, Arrays lost $150,957, versus a $796,228 loss in the year-earlier period. Sales fell 33.5%, to $1.5 million.
