New Corporate Capital Officer Is Ex-SBA Chief

Eugene Foley, a former head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, was named senior vice president at Corporate Capital Resources, a Westlake Village venture capital firm.
Foley, 57, was named national administrator of the SBA in August, 1963, by President John F. Kennedy and continued to serve in that capacity in the Lyndon B. Johnson Administration until August, 1965, when he was named assistant secretary of commerce for economic development. Foley most recently worked as a financial consultant in New York and Philadelphia.
Besides being a senior vice president, Foley will serve as special assistant to Daniel D. Weston, Corporate Capital’s chairman and president.
