A 23-year-old Arcadia man was arrested on suspicion of having shot three people to death on a residential street in West Covina. Police said the suspect, who was not immediately identified, was taken into custody near the scene and his weapon, a recently fired handgun, was confiscated. Officers arriving to investigate a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of South Sandy Hook Street found a man and a woman dead on the porch of one residence and followed a trail of blood to find the body of another man in the kitchen of a house nearby. Witnesses said the slayer had fled on a motorcycle, and the suspect was picked up as his motorcycle approached the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 10 a few blocks away.
