Silicon Systems, a Tustin semiconductor company, named industry consultant John V. Crosby as vice president of operations.
Among other duties, Crosby will direct the company’s Smartflex Systems subsidiary, a joint venture with flexible cable manufacturer Rogers Corp. of Arizona.
Previously, the operations position had been consolidated in the duties of William L. Healy, the company’s vice president in charge of manufacturing, a spokesman said.
The company also announced the promotion of William E. Bendush to vice president and controller. Bendush has been with Silicon Systems since August 1985.
