Rams Play Redskins at 1 on Sunday; Jets and Chiefs Are Matched in AFC

New England’s 34-27 victory over Miami Monday night was the final piece in the NFL playoff puzzle and it set up these games next Sunday: the New York Jets will entertain the Kansas City Chiefs at 9:30 a.m., PST, in the AFC wild-card game, and the Rams will play at Washington at 1 p.m. in the NFC wild card game.
In the divisional playoff games the following weekend, the Cleveland Browns will play the AFC wild-card winner at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, and the Chicago Bears will meet either Washington, if it beats the Rams, or the San Francisco 49ers at 1 p.m. Saturday.
On Sunday, Jan. 4, the Giants will play the Rams, if they beat Washington, or the 49ers at 9:30 a.m., and the New England Patriots will play at Denver at 4 p.m.
