The holder of a state Lotto ticket purchased in Santa Ana last week is $387,216 richer after correctly choosing five of the six winning numbers, plus the bonus number, a lottery official said Sunday.
The identity of the ticket holder will not be known until today at the earliest, after he or she claims the prize at a regional state lottery office, spokesman John Schade said.
The total pot last for five of six plus the bonus number was $1.16 million. Holders of two other tickets, bought in San Francisco and Santa Barbara, will split the money with the holder of the Santa Ana ticket, Schade said.
No one picked all six winning numbers for a jackpot of $7.6 million, he said.
There were 217 people who chose five of the six winning numbers, but not the bonus number, and each of them will win $2,758, Schade said. For choosing four of the six numbers, 10,656 people won $51 apiece, and the 189,940 who chose three winning numbers won $5 each, he said.
