A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed and two people were injured when the motorcyclist collided with a small truck, authorities said Monday.
Fullerton police said that James Foley Dye of Cucamonga was pronounced dead at the scene of the Sunday evening accident at the intersection of Acacia and Orangethorpe avenues. Dye was riding a 1965 Harley Davidson when he collided with a 1985 Nissan truck driven by Steven James Moses, 20, of Brea, Fullerton police spokesman Spencer Muir said.
Moses was treated for minor cuts at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim, while his passenger, Errin Marie Chadwick, 18, of Yorba Linda, was treated for minor cuts at UCI Medical Center.
Investigators were trying to determine which of the two vehicles ran a red light at the signal-controlled intersection, police said. No arrests had been made.
