YWCA to Honor 9 Orange County Women at Irvine Awards Dinner

Nine Orange County women will be honored by the South Orange County YWCA when it holds its annual awards dinner Thursday at the Irvine Hilton.
The women, who are in business, the arts, education, government, law, media and religious affairs are: Betsy Sanders, vice president and general manager of Nordstrom in Southern California; Carla Espinoza, assistant vice chancellor for affirmative action at UC Irvine; Pamela L. Iles, presiding judge of the South Orange County Municipal Court; Dr. Deborah Stewart of UC Irvine; Hinda Beral, Orange County-area director of the American Jewish Committee; Elaine Redfield, community leader/arts advocate; Mary Jones, an officer with the Orange County Protocol Office; Laura Saari of the Orange County Register and Helen Cameron, president of the Irvine Unified School District.
