A 28-year-old Chicago man apparently fell or jumped into the Atlantic from his private balcony on the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship and remains missing, the Coast Guard reported. The man, whose name was not released, was last seen by a steward entering his stateroom late Thursday, when the ship, which docked Saturday in New York, was returning from a Caribbean cruise, authorities said. The Steward reported that the man had been drinking heavily. And the next morning, a housekeeper found a “do not disturb” sign on the man’s door.
