Pasadena : Sites for Auto Mall Sought Within City

The Board of Directors has called for an intensive search for potential sites for a new auto mall.
The move grows out of discussions in July between city staff and auto dealers, who have been tempted to relocate in new auto malls in neighboring cities such as Duarte and Alhambra.
Because of the scarcity of land, the city is also considering locating two smaller auto malls near the Foothill Freeway in the eastern and western sections of Pasadena.
