HOUSTON — Texas Gov. Bill Clements today endorsed Vice President George Bush--a Texas resident--for the Republican presidential nomination. “I can say in total candor that in George Bush--what you see is what you get,” Republican Clements said at a news conference where he was joined by Bush.
