Micom Countersues Rival, Alleges Monopolization

Micom Systems, the Simi Valley firm, has filed a countersuit against Republic Telecom Systems, alleging monopolization by Republic Telecom of a new data communications device. The suit, filed in U. S. District Court in San Francisco, asks at least $2 million in punitive damages.

The suit involves rival products introduced by the two companies that allow both voice and data transmissions on a telecommunications line.
