A 13-year-old Oakland boy was surrounded by gun-toting youths and shot to death at a bus stop on the city’s west side, apparently because of a drug dispute, police said. “He dropped out of school, joined bad company, became involved in drug gang activity and got killed,” homicide investigator Mike Sitterud said of the victim, Rolando Mattie. He was sitting at a bus stop when five males ran up and surrounded him, police said. “He was shot at least five times at point-blank range with a handgun or guns,” Sitterud said.
