Training Plane Crashes in Tehran; 6 Killed

NICOSIA, Cyprus — Six people were killed and several injured today when a plane on a training flight crashed into a residential area of Tehran, the Iranian news agency IRNA said.
It said the plane crashed into houses near Mehrabad airport in southwestern Tehran after developing technical problems. The agency said it was not known if the pilot was among those killed and gave no further details.
