Indy car driver Roberto Guerrero has undergone surgery on his right foot at Daytona Beach, Fla., and will miss Friday’s opening event of the International Race of Champions series.
Guerrero, of Colombia, broke the foot in a crash last Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway. Guerrero seemed to be fine after the incident, but the pain in his foot reportedly worsened.
