In a Dec. 22 story on the politics of AIDS, it was reported that state Sen. John Doolittle (R-Citrus Heights), Rep. William E. Dannemeyer (R-Fullerton) and Republican consultant Charles Rund of San Francisco met at one point to discuss the statewide AIDS initiative proposed by Dannemeyer. Rund was not present at the meeting, nor did he meet with them at any other time.
