Crooner Julio Iglesias will host a special on Chinese television on April 25--the first international artist ever to do so, according to the William Morris Agency’s Dick Alen. The Chinese Ministry of Culture told Alen that Iglesias’ potential viewing audience would number some 250 million people. In U.S. terms, the agent added, that’s a 105 Nielsen rating and a 100 share (there’s only one TV station in China).
