Hollywood Freeway Shutdowns Planned

For the second weekend in a row, all northbound and southbound lanes of the Hollywood Freeway will be closed during overnight hours at the downtown Los Angeles four-level interchange for pavement reconstruction work.
The state Department of Transportation said the closure will be from shortly after midnight tonight until 9 a.m. Sunday.
Motorists will be detoured around the project with posted signs. Once again, Caltrans is warning of “extremely heavy congestion while work is in progress.”
The work is part of a $6-million project.
