IN BRIEF : Kareem’s Uniform Goes on Display

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The uniform and goggles worn by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar during his final regular season game will go on display at the Basketball Hall of Fame, executive director Joe O’Brien said today.
An autographed basketball from Sunday’s game, along with a final statistics sheet from the Lakers’ 121-117 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics, will also be included in the display.
Jabbar is retiring after playing 20 years in the NBA.
