Company Says It Will Settle: Bergen Brunswig Corp. said Friday it has agreed to settle a 1986 shareholder lawsuit that accused the company of inflating its profits and share price by undervaluing unsold inventories. The Orange-based pharmaceutical and video distributor said the settlement of the class-action suit, which is still subject to court approval, will involve a payment by the company of an unspecificed amount. The company said the payment will not have a material impact on its financial condition.
