Sebastian Coe won his final track race in Britain, circling the track to a standing ovation from more than 15,000 at the Crystal Palace in London.
Coe, a two-time Olympic 1,500-meter gold medalist, easily won the 800 meters at the McVities Challenge Invitation meet in 1 minute 45.70 seconds.
Coe, who will turn 33 on Sept. 29, will end his career at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand, in January and begin a political career.
