‘There must be something in our water. Every year, we go through this and I sure don’t see any other teams with this problem.’

ODDS AND ENDS

Going after the kicker, standard procedure for most kickoff return teams, was abandoned by Kennedy High School against Santa Ana Valley Friday night. But it might have been more for safety than strategy. Loren Raglasnd, the Falcons’ kicker, is listed at 6-foot-4, 303 pounds. Three of his kickoffs went in and out of the end zone.
