West Bakersfield 37, Antelope Valley 15--Visiting Antelope Valley was staked to an early 7-0 lead when sophomore Fred Edwards returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown. But then West Bakersfield (2-0) scored 37 unanswered points, including 21 in the fourth quarter.
West Bakersfield tailbacks Isaac LaBlue and Jason Christy combined for 213 yards rushing. Antelope Valley (1-1) was held to 16 yards rushing.
