Wilkerson Helps 49er Women Win

Dana Wilkerson scored eight consecutive points during a decisive run and finished with 22 as No. 12 Cal State Long Beach beat UC Santa Barbara, 95-70, in a Big West Conference women’s game at Long Beach on Wednesday night.
Trise Jackson added 17 points and Angelique Lee had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the 49ers (18-5, 11-2 in conference play).
Lee scored off an offensive rebound with 4:03 to play in the first half to launch a 19-0 run that carried the 49ers to a 45-20 lead.
The Gauchos are 11-12 and 6-8.
