Abortion and the Future

Does Kevin Davis in his letter of March 17 on the movie “The Handmaid’s Tale” really think that if women retain the right to abortion, we’ll all decide never to have kids?
Of course anyone who believes the movie’s “dismal future world . . . is the logical extension of unfettered abortion” probably also believes the Third Reich was the logical extension of giving women the vote.
Mr. Davis, the movie wasn’t about a society that women ruined; it was about the logical extension of patriarchal values and the control of women and our sexuality in a society run by people like you.
