Anaheim Real Estate

It doesn’t take an expert like L. William Seidman, chairman of Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., to see there is trouble with the commercial real estate market in Anaheim (“Anaheim Called a Real Estate Trouble Spot,” April 18).
Just drive down Euclid Street between the Riverside Freeway and Lincoln Avenue to see “For Lease” signs everywhere. Look at Anaheim Plaza, Orange County’s largest city’s mall. What a sad, frightening sight!
I hope that our City Council will guide us out of this disturbing situation before Anaheim begins to resemble Phoenix or Dallas/Ft. Worth.
