Re: The “late” Lawrence Clark Powell.
In the April 8 View section you printed a letter to the editor that referred to the “late Lawrence Clark Powell, UCLA Librarian.”
On Sunday, April 8, Lawrence Clark Powell was not only not dead, he was having a party--attended by almost 1,000--at Singing Wind Bookshop in Benson, Ariz., to celebrate the publication of his latest book, “Southwest: Three Definitions.”
