NAMES IN THE NEWS : No Stretch for Tall Goldblum

Actor Jeff Goldblum, who towers more than 6-foot-4, will next be seen starring a new comedy titled, “The Tall Guy,” under the direction of English comedian Mel Smith.

“The Tall Guy” is a funky comedy about an oddball American actor living in London who is cast to star in a musical adaptation of “The Elephant Man,” a play so tasteless, so pretentious and so bad that it becomes an instant sensation.

Costarring with Goldblum are Rowan Atkinson and Geraldine James. Making her debut in a starring film role is Emma Thompson. “The Tall Guy” is scheduled for release in late September.
