A 25-year-old man accused of running a methamphetamine laboratory out of his home was ordered Monday to stand trial in Superior Court.
Kelly C. Schwartz of Rancho Bernardo is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of the drug with the intent to distribute.
Schwartz is in custody in lieu of $250,000 bail.
An undercover agent with the Narcotics Task Force testified that a search warrant was served at Schwartz’s residence July 8. The officer said a working methamphetamine lab was found in the attic above the garage.
Schwartz eluded arrest the day the warrant was served. He was apprehended Aug. 7 in Poway.
