Chris Weinke of St. Paul, Minn., considered one of the country’s best high school football and baseball players, signed with the Toronto Blue Jays, 11 days after beginning football practice at Florida State.

Weinke, who turned 18 last month, received a $375,000 signing bonus from the Blue Jays, according to his agent, Ron Simon of Minneapolis.
