The Huntington Beach Art Center will receive about $30,000 from the recent 4-day equestrian fund-raising event. That brings to about $125,000 the amount raised toward a $750,000 goal needed to begin refurbishing of an 11,000-square-foot facility to house the proposed community arts center, slated to open in 1991. A free, informal open house and tours will be held at the site Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Staff members will discuss program plans and answer questions.
