LOCAL : Body Found in O.C. Reservoir

The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a Trabuco Canyon reservoir early this morning, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
It was unclear how long the man had been floating face down in the middle of the reservoir near Trabuco Canyon Road and Plano Trabuco Road, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Richard J. Olson said.
But he may have accidentally drowned while swimming in the reservoir sometime last night, Olson said. The 250-by-100-foot reservoir is used to supply water to a local nursery.
A pile of clothing and personal belongings were found nearby at about 7 a.m. today, Olson said.
