Data General Corp. to Close N.H. Plant

DURHAM, N.H. — Troubled Data General Corp. told its 125 Durham employees that it is closing its facility there by the end of the year.
The computer maker laid off 40 employees immediately and will cut another 30 or so by the time the development site is shut, said spokesman James Dunlap.
