SIMI VALLEY : 2 Youths Arrested Over Classroom Fire

Two 15-year-old Simi Valley youths have been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to an elementary school classroom last month and destroying more than $60,000 worth of school materials, authorities said.
The boys were arrested about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at Royal High School on suspicion of arson, said Simi Valley Police Sgt. Ken Tacke.
The youths poured photocopying fluid on dozens of books and the photocopy machine and lit it in a classroom at Madera Elementary School, 250 Royal Ave., Tacke said.
