Ventura Freeway Work to Close Lanes, Ramps

Some lanes and ramps on the Ventura Freeway in the San Fernando Valley will be closed tonight and Saturday night because of work to widen the freeway, Caltrans announced Thursday.
From 11 p.m. today to 9 a.m. Saturday, up to three eastbound lanes will be closed between Hazeltine Avenue and the Tujunga Wash bridge.
Also, the eastbound Woodman Avenue and Coldwater Canyon Avenue on- and off-ramps will be closed during the same hours.
From 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, up to three eastbound lanes will be closed between Fulton and Colfax avenues, California Department of Transportation officials said.
At the same time, the eastbound Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Laurel Canyon Boulevard on- and off-ramps also will be closed.
