ANAHEIM : ‘A Day of Prayer’ Scheduled at Park

Members of all religious denominations are invited to Riverdale Park in Anaheim Hills on Sunday to participate in “A Day of Prayer” for American military personnel in the Middle East.
Sponsored by Innerquest Metaphysical Foundation, a New Age church in Anaheim, the prayer day is “a chance to get beyond our belief systems and join together to create peace,” the Rev. Ruth Smith said. The event will be videotaped and sent to military personnel in the Persian Gulf.
The prayer day will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the park, which is at 4545 E. Riverdale Ave., and should last about one hour.
