Cable Network to Show Gulls

The San Diego Gulls signed a deal Thursday with San Diego Cable Sports Network to broadcast 20 of their 41 home International Hockey League games this season. Games will be televised on a delayed basis--usually the next day at 5 p.m.--and can be seen on Cox Cable, Southwestern and Jones Intercable at no additional charge.
The Gulls’ home opener Oct. 5 against Salt Lake City will be broadcast Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. The remaining 19 games to be broadcast have not been selected.
The play-by-play will be that of Ron Oakes, who will broadcast the game live on KCEO radio.
