BAFTA’s Hollywood Connection: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is going Hollywood with its Academy Awards presentation for the first time in its 44 years. BAFTA L.A. will host a champagne brunch March 17 at the Bel Age hotel here at the same time the traditional ceremony is going on in London. The awards will be linked by a BBC satellite broadcast that will air live in Great Britain.
