BUENA PARK : Boys and Girls Club to Be Refurbished
- Share via
The Buena Park Boys and Girls Club will soon have nine new windows and other structural improvements, paid for by more than $14,000 in federal funds the city has awarded to the facility.
The funds were earmarked for the club last year but went unused because of a reshuffling of the group’s top administrators. With new leaders at the club, the federal Community Development Block Grant funds were disbursed.
The money also will be used to rehabilitate parts of the meeting place, including minor repairs to the game rooms, front office, kitchen, gym and restrooms. In addition, parts of the exterior of the building will get a fresh coat of paint.
