Dana Point resident Ed Conway has been reelected chairman of the Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks Commission.
The seven-member board oversees a $12-million budget and all of the county’s recreational facilities and historical sites. The commission has responsibility for the development, maintenance and public use of 12 regional parks, numerous community parks, three harbors and several historical and beach facilities.
Conway, a real estate salesman, was appointed to the commission five years ago by Supervisor Thomas F. Riley. He served as the commission’s vice chairman in 1989.
