ICN Biomedicals Down 57% From Last Year’s Figure

ICN Biomedicals Inc. of Costa Mesa posted second-quarter earnings of $1.2 million, down 57% from earnings of $2.8 million in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 declined 25% to $26.6 million from $35.3 million a year earlier.

For the six-month period, earnings dropped 51% to $2.3 million from $4.7 million a year ago. Revenue declined 18% to $56.3 million from $68.3 million.
