Jewelry worth an estimated $51,740 was reported stolen from the house of a Camarillo couple, authorities said Wednesday.
Thieves passed over costume jewelry, televisions and videocassette recorders after they pried open a back door and entered John Sawelenko’s house in the 800 block of Paseo Serenata on the night of July 12, Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Keith Lazz said.
The thieves took 15 items, including a man’s antique Rolex watch worth $15,000, Lazz said.
Authorities said they have no suspects.
