Montgomery Securities Calls for Vote: The San Francisco-based brokerage, leading a fight against earlier trading on the New York Stock Exchange, said it has enough signatures for a special vote to keep the opening at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time. Montgomery and other houses oppose the NYSE plan, saying it will hike staffing costs and severely inconvenience West Coast brokers--while not achieving the goal of recapturing lost trading.
