POPULAR GUY: New Age author and spiritual leader Ram Dass has sold more than 3 million books as a teacher of “karma yoga,” a sort of Hindu equivalent of “do unto others.” But the 60-year-old Marin County resident, who speaks tonight at 7:30 at the Huntington Beach Church of Religious Science, is better remembered for his colorful past. . . . Nearly 30 years ago, Dass and colleague Timothy Leary were booted off the Harvard University faculty for experimenting with LSD.
