Axl Charged: Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose has been charged with assault and property damage by a St. Louis (Mo.) County prosecutor over a riot that erupted at a July 2 concert when he leaped from the stage to snatch a camera from a fan and then stormed off, abruptly ending the show. The misdemeanor charges carry a combined penalty of up to 4 1/2 years in jail and $4,500 in fines. Meanwhile, prosecutors in Inglewood have decided to take Rose’s limousine driver to court for allegedly making an illegal turn while driving him to a concert at the Forum. Rose threatened to cancel that night’s concert if the citation was issued.
